They are idiots for blaming him for the mess of the last 8 years. Common he’s trying to fix up our screwed up Economy. I don’t know whether it will work or not but we have to try something!
That’s it. Oh and I really like CSI Miami… onlyyy Miami though.

I don’t know how her defense lawyer sleeps at night. I like Brad Conway, he seems like the best lawyer yet, and smartest!
If I was a lawyer, I’d be a prosecutor, and I’d be a bitch, like Nancy Grace. People have common sense, and trying to fool people with stastics like the Science could lean another way is ridiculous. Hey they let OJ walk.
Hopefully Casey doesn’t walk. I normally don’t believe in the Death Penalty but I think you deserve it if you kill your own kid! Peace out

-has to be summer, since I live in Michigan (Yep I’m a proud Yooper).
The weather is so nice, and you don’t need the A/C as often as you would in nearby states or down South. I like to go for walks with the hounds, but I think I need some new outdoor hobbies, maybe planting flowers or vegetables.
The thing that sucks about it — the seagulls.. Yuck!

These are objects/things– not people! Family would be #1 then.
1. A quilt my mom handmade me, the handmade gifts are always the most special aren’t they?
2. Not #2 but a tie with #1 a chest my dad made me! It stores all my school books. I love it.
3. My Blackberry
4. My DSLR Olympus E520
5. 42″ Flat Screen tv
6. DVR — expensive but worth it.
7. Nancy Grace Tv Show – even though she’s such a bitch sometimes.
8. HGTV but am getting tired of the repeats.
9. Mt Dew- but I must give it up eventually.
10. My Laptop- I’m ready for a new one though. A mini one!

Usually everynight Brett talks in his sleep, and sometimes it’s so funny. Usually I forget about it by the next day so I thought I’d keep track of it tonight.
I stay up late on the puter in the living room…. I heard him talking so here is the conversation–
B: Rambling–
A: What?
B: Hunny, who’s all here?
A: Just me, why? (it’s 1 a.m. who would I have over??)
B: Just checking.
A: Ok goodnight love you
B: Goodnight, Love you too.

Thank-you for using your star power and bringing attention to the issues. Hopefully now these issues will get the attention they need. Ariel hunting is cruel, and I hope soon there are laws against it in Alaska. And I really don’t like Elisabeth on the view and her ugly conservative views.

Thank God she did not make it to be Vice President.
How can any one fight to take any endangered species of the Endangered Species list if there numbers haven’t improved? I’m talking about Beluga Whales in Anchorage, Alaska. She’s challenging the federal decision because she feels it’s bad for development. Umm hello dumb ass- What do you think killing all of them is going to do? The population is said to be fewer then 300. I think Politicians, and America have had enough Sarah Palin, and hopefully she fades farrrrr away from the spot light. We need politicians who care about nature, species populations, and controlling invasive species populations, which in turn would create a better environment for us. America is also about beauty in nature, not just economic growth. Hopefully there is a happy medium. >>Rant Over.

Time to introduce my beagle girl:
Fancy
Fancy was adopted February 16th 2007, from a shelter two hours away. We were planning on adopting a little lab mixed name Betsie, (I was adamant I didn’t want another beagle because Jake is kind of loud), and that feel through when Jake was diagnosed with Kennel Cough. He was vaccinated for it but contacted it anyway. Anyway the vet said not to add any dogs for at least three weeks. We contacted the shelter and they said they had another home lined up for Betsie, and we agreed she’d be better off to find a home now.
Throughout this time, I was in regular contact with a shelter volunteer M, and she kept telling me about this sweet beagle girl who had sat in the shelter a month. She had found a home once but she was brought back right away because these people didn’t realize the attention a beagle needs. And she wasn’t housetrained. Fancy was six years old at the time, and I’m pretty sure she spent those six years outside. We are pretty sure she was abused because of how scared she acts, the poor girl is afraid of her own shadow.
Since we kept in contact through e-mails, M kept mentioning this sweet beagle girl Autumn. And I finally started to think what if we adopted another beagle— it might not be such a bad idea after all. I really wanted a friend for Jake, since he was so loud and he hated being alone. He howled in his crate when he was left alone, I hated that for the neighbors sake. So I talked my boyfriend into going for a ride and going to check out this beagle girl. He really didn’t want another dog , but he knew how happy it made me, so he agreed to go for the ride. The car wasn’t in the best shape and it was the middle of winter in Michigan, but I just had to go see her.
Fancy came from this shelter that seemed very poor, basically it was a shack. There was one space heater and that’s it. The kennels were makeshift kennels, and the cat kennels were up on shelves or stacked on top of dog kennels. We brought Jake in and introduced him to the other dogs. Jake seemed to click with this little white dog and I asked my boyfriend if we could take him instead, and he said no, we came here for the beagle that’s who we are taking home, if we take any dogs. Well thank god he said that and was adamant on adopting beagles (we think oppositely on everything).
We filled out the paperwork and took Fancy home. On the way home, on the country music station, the song playing was Fancy by Reba McEntire, and that became her new name Fancy. She is so not an Autumn, and the funny thing is my boyfriend was set on naming her Fancy even before that song played. That just confirmed it she was meant to be a Fancy. I’m happy to announce Fancy picked up house training right away had maybe six accidents total, and she’s been the sweetest quietest little dog ever, I just love her so much! Thanks for reading Fancy’s Story.

In honor of Jakes Gotcha Day coming up, I’d like to share his story. For those of you who don’t know what a Gotcha day is, it’s the day you adopt a dog.
Around December 2005, I started volunteering at the local shelter walking dogs. I missed having a dog so much and my parents black lab Smokie, that this really helped me feel more at home here (I moved three hours from home). My boyfriend and I always went in to walk the dogs as often as we could, and he felt the most comfortable around the little dogs. There was one purebred beagle named Buddy, and one little chubby beagle mix named Baby.
Since my boyfriend and I spent so much time with these beagles we renamed them. I asked what there stories were from the staff and of course being beagles they were strays and no one had come looking for them. As I was brushing Buddy I believe I asked why was his name Buddy? And they said that’s just what they have been calling him, and they asked if I had a name that I liked for him, and I said Jake. So they said his name is now Jake. They overheard us calling, Baby—the beagle mix, Molly so they just renamed her Molly shortly after that.
I’d always call and check on them or ask about them when I went, and they’d say there had been a lot of interest in them on the internet, but nobody ever came. And when I woke up and saw Jakes new status on petfinder as URGENT!!!!!!!!!! , I knew what that meant—Euthanasia.
I’d fallen completely in love with this dog. If we would walk another dog he’d just sit outside and stare at us with his head tilted, with the occasional howl of course, and we’d think it was so darn cute. I cried over the thought of losing Jake or him being put to sleep.
I immediately asked my parents if they would take him until I found a place to live that allowed a dog, and reluctantly they agreed but told me I had to do so quickly. Smokie–the lab I missed doesn’t like other dogs at all, and I knew this would be such an inconvenience for them. I can remember speaking to my dad and him saying, don’t let them do that to that dog (put him to sleep). I have the best parents in the world; they were willing to help me keep this dog I loved. How many parents would do that?
Valentines Day was approaching in 2006 and Brett asked me what I wanted for Valentines Day, and all I could say over was Jake while crying about him being put down. We couldn’t adopt him, for we lived in apartment that didn’t allow any pets. I asked Brett to ask the landlord and she really liked us so she said yes! I couldn’t believe it, I was so happy. I found out February 13th we were able to keep Jake, and I spent the day shopping for Jake, I had spent $50 on dog toys alone. February 14th we went and got him and he came home with me. He jumped up on the bed immediately, and took a nap. And he was home. Jake was in the shelter nearly 2 months, and he was out of time, but the story ended up how it was suppose to. I have no doubt this is the way that things were suppose to play out, God or something great guided me to this dog, as crazy as it sounds. He’s made me so happy, and made living far away from my family a little easier. I still miss them like crazy and he definitely doesn’t take their place, but he made me feel like it was okay to feel homey here, if that makes sense. Jakes a great dog, he’s wild and fun, and manageable after an obedience class. J As for Molly she found a home with an elderly lady, which sounded like the greatest fate possible for her. Thanks for listening.
